We all have been in many restaurants around Taipei and we all can share our wonderful dinning experiences, BUT this time, I want you to know about WE LI or "We 里", a very very "small BIG" restaurant, dressing italian and japanese cuisines.
I love pizzas and If you like pizzas, then you MUST VISIT THIS PLACE!
This is We Li! Located in No.114 of Zhong Yuan or ¨中原¨ street, The restaurant is divided into 2 areas, the italian and the japanese. If you order italian food then you most probably will have your meal outside, in the bar area (unless japanese area is empty so you are also welcome to sit there).

Here the Operations Center or Kitchen! At first sight looks like an earthquake has just happened! Don´t worry, everything is under control!
The Pizza Chef put order in what you think is chaos. He is a truly Maestro preparing pizzas and his other speciality, roasted chicken! That´s why I said a ¨small BIG¨ restaurant, because the place has quite limited space, but it is managed by this great man!
And he is really good at what he does. For example, cooking the mentioned roasted chicken. We can see some of the main ingredients...
And here is my favorite pizza, the Marco Polo style, with cheese, tomato and imported italian salami! All ingredients are natural and fresh, that´s why taste is great!
Put the shovel under the pizza and...
There it goes! Directly to the oven! Fire in the whole!
That´s the ¨secret¨, pizza and chicken are cooked with real fire flames from wood (non electric or gas)! That makes food taste to be just exceptional!
Some extra ingredients you might add... in case you like spicy, there it is!
And here it comes, a wonderful hand-made Marco Polo pizza cooked with love by the Master!
The Japanese noodles also on the table.
Price wise between 200 to 300 TWD per person. Great food, high quality ingredients and very friendly service. What else do you want? Don´t miss it!
