Casa della Pasta - Italian Restaurant

Hola!

Few days ago,  I visited an italian restaurant located in the south of Taipei. As you all know, I am from Spain and I love mediterranean cuisine, so I appointed myself as a judge to assess the place and the food. Welcome to the restaurant "Casa della Pasta".

Below you can see the restaurant front door. The outside decoration is quite nice, with terracota bricks on the walls creating a south european touch. Also, there is a small terrace where you can enjoy a nice Taiwan beer.

The outside chinese sign indicates the food type, italian cuisine. Lovely!

Nice details on the walls, a traditional english style watch and the name of the restaurant sculpted.

Oh, keep in mind that the place is next to Roxy 99, so after dinner you can have a beer/drinks with friends and keep going with the "Fiesta". Yeaahhh!!

Ok, let´s go inside! What we see first is the baked room! Yes, if you order a pizza, it will be cooked in this oven.

A closer look, so I notice they use wood as a fuel. Wood gives a really nice taste to pizzas, better than gas or electric oven. Cool!

And one of the most important areas of the restaurant, the drinks bar!! You may order all types of drinks, except water!! ;-)

We approach our destination, the dinning area. Brown light and dark colors are predominant, giving a confortable sensation and a classical feeling environment.

Some of the most famous cities in Italy are represented on the walls together with other home decorative items.

We are hungry, really hungry!!! Time to order food and here comes. Appetizers first. A set of french fries, not really italian food but it´s ok; mozzarella cheese, taste is amazing; small chicken legs and chicken breast, gets the gold medal.

A cup of "Tou Jiang", which is soya milk (not really italian but asian drink). Anyhow, good and healthy.

Main dish time. I order pesto penne with chicken. Taste is great and I do recommend you to order!

And my other friends as follows. Spicy chicken with tomato and bolognese spaghetti. Both dishes have really nice presentation and obviously, both were so delicious ;-)

Of course you can add extra spices, like Tabasco, pepper and more spicy!

Time for dessert. When not clear what to order, the best is to try whatever made of chocolate. This choice always is good, so below a browning pie made of chocolate. 3 words, Very Very Nice.

From my point of view, definitely a place 100% recommended and affordable indeed. You can have dinner with less than 200 TWD (if you order 1 pasta dish) or expect 200 to 300 TWD if order menu set (main, drink and dessert included).

Here you can check their website. A small part of Italy in Taipei!
