The date for Taiwan elections is getting close and is very common to see in the streets propaganda showing the leaders of each political party. Today I saw the 蔡英文 shop, who is the DPP official candidate for becoming the next Taiwan president.
Let´s take a look at the DPP shop!
This is the official shop name, so inside you can find an extensive umbrella of Political Products. The Marketing Strategy for each party has already begun!
The shop is quite small and is located in the heart of Taipei 光華 computer market. This is how it looks like, as simple as this, that´s all!
Let´s see some of the propaganda items you can find in this shop. The typical cap is one of the top sale goods.
The porcelain coffee cup... Although I am not able to vote in Taiwan, I bought 4 cups (a nice present for some KMT friends, hahaha).
Yeah, you can also purchase towels, bags or taper wares!!
Obviously, nice looking clothes showing some slogans.

Listening to DPP Music...
And of course, other items such as stationary (agendas, pencils, stickers, bags) and organic rice (this is a big surprise) or tea.
Anyway, is time to pay and everything is DPP branded.
I wonder if there is the DPP or KMT Credit Card...
The piggy bank has become the new DPP icon. As far as I know, a kid gave to the DPP leader his savings in the piggy bank, and the opposition party, the KMT, accused the DPP leader of accepting bribes (if this is right, the accusation is ridiculous).
Anyhow, the reaction of all DPP followers has been to give to the DPP leader as many piggy banks as possible, only 1 for each family member is accepted, and so KMT has reconsidered the accusations.
